This listing is for a very nice vintage 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Cobra Eleanor tribute. Original C code V8 car. The Eleanor black plate is for novelty purposes only, but will be included with the car along with current CA plates. It was recently restored and is in good running/driving condition with lots of new parts!!!

Paint is Ford Race Red with Performance White GT Lemans stripes. Paint is base coat clear cut and polished to a high shine. Lemans stripes are painted on not decals. Paint is approximately 1 year old with minor imperfections. Many new exterior parts and add ons: Fiberglass Industries Eleanor body kit, Eleanor billet grille and trim, pop open Cobra gas cap, new bullet mirrors, staggered 17x8 & 17x9 chrome Bullitt alloy wheels with Shelby caps, new Nankang tires 225 45 17 front and 235 45 17 rear, new Cobra/GT350 exterior emblems. All exterior chrome is in nice shape, exterior lighting, turn signals, brake lights all function properly.

The engine is a late model 5.0 cubic inch V8 with no issues. Engine runs great, starts right up and does not smoke or boil over. Factory Ford 4V aluminum intake manifold and Holley 600CFM 4V carburetor. Lots of new parts installed: B303 camshaft for nice choppy idle characteristics, new Shelby oval air breather, Mustang finned aluminum valve covers, Pro billet distributor, Accel 8.8 wires and spark plugs, new aluminum water pump, new starter solenoid, recent oil change and coolant flush. This Mustang has serpentine belt system. Exhaust is shorty headers running into 2 1/2 inch dual piping with Flowmaster Super 10 series mufflers. Car sounds awesome with a nice deep rumble. Transmission has been upgraded to a late model T5 with a cable assisted clutch for ease of operation. The transmission shifts good thru all the gears.

The interior has been redone custom deluxe style seat upholstery with comfort weave, new carpet, new deluxe door panels, new arm rests, new door and window cranks, new custom center console, new dash pad, new aluminum dash paneling, new headliner, new Cobra floor mats, reconditioned heater assembly, new turn signal switch. Original radio is installed, but not currently hooked up to the speakers. The heater, horn, gauges, wipers and interior lighting all function properly.

OEM factory power drum brakes. The car has ample stopping power and the brakes are a little on the sensitive side. New front and rear shocks. New fuel sending unit. Suspension is all stock with coil springs up front and leaf springs in the rear with an 8 inch rear end and the differential has been topped off. Car brakes and rides nicely. Trunk is clean no rust new trunk mat with spare cover.
