1968 FORD MUSTANG GT TRIBUTE ROYAL MAROON C CODE 289 V8 AUTOMATIC DISC BRAKES
This listing is for a very nice vintage 1968 Ford Mustang GT clone. Recently received restoration work. Original California
C code V8 car. This Mustang is in good running/driving condition with lots of new parts!!!
Paint is Ford Royal Maroon with black GT Lemans rocker stripes. Body is very straight. Paint is brand new 1 month old. Paint is base coat clear
cut and polished to a high shine. Many new exterior parts and add ons: New American Racing Torque Thrust 2 wheels 17x8 front and 17x9.5 out
back, new vinyl top, Pony gas cap, Pony exterior emblems, new front bumper. All exterior chrome is in nice shape. Exterior lighting, turn signals,
brake lights all function properly.
The engine is a 289 cubic inch V8 runs good with no issues. The engine was rebuilt by previous owner. Engine does not smoke or boil over.
Edelbrock 4V aluminum intake manifold and Edelbrock 600 CFM 4V carburetor. New aluminum oval finned air cleaner and matching finned valve
covers, new flex a lite fan, new billet pulleys, new Pertronix electronic ignition with new Taylor coil, new water pump, new Motorcraft 7mm wires,
spark plugs, cap and rotor, new Duralast starter, new Duralast start solenoid, chrome 1 wire alternator, recent oil change and coolant flush. Exhaust
is Summit headers running into 2 1/4 inch full length piping with 40 series Flowmaster mufflers exiting the rear of the car. Car has a very nice deep
rumble. Transmission is a C4 three speed automatic. Shifts good through all gears.
The interior has been redone with factory style seat upholstery, new carpet, new door panels, new dash pad, new center console, new kick panels, new
headliner, new Pony floor mats, new package tray, but not currently hooked up. Heater works good, but this Mustang is not equipped with factory air
conditioning. Gauges, horn, wipers and interior lighting all function properly.
Brakes are disc up front and drum out back. Shoes and cylinders in the front and rear were replaced by previous owner. Suspension is all stock with
coil springs up front and leaf springs in the rear with an 8 inch rear end. Car has been lowered 1 inch all the way around for a better stance. Front and
rear shocks are in nice shape replaced by previous owner. Rear differential has been topped off. Trunk is clean no rust new trunk mat with spare cover.
